I went to a royalty-free image site and searched for images of Summerland. Plus, a couple of friends sent me some cell phone shots. What I’ve done is I’ve cut them down to the right size for posting on both the Facebook page and on this site for the header image.
But you are the residents of Summerland, so I’m going to leave it up to you to vote on what you would like to see as your header image, and maybe you want to see them rotate on a regular basis.
Anyway, I have nine of them, and I’m going to put them up below. Let me know what your preference is.

We’ll leave the contest open for a while, maybe a week or so, unless it’s overwhelming on one specific image. And of course, it’s not closed if you have images of your own that would fit into this aspect ratio. It has to be wider than it is tall. That’s very specific for the graphics on these pages; they have a certain size that has to fit into the header. So if you have any and you want to use them, by all means send them, and we’ll include them in the contest here. We’ll just keep adding them until we don’t have any more to add.
Until there’s a clear direction of what people want, I may rotate the images through the header just so you can have a real-time view of what they look like. So I’ll go a few days on each one.
